AquaScat: a top turbidity sensor becomes even more attractive!


Since the market introduction in the year 2006, more than 2'000 AquaScat instruments have been sold. The concept of having an AquaScat family with different models, tailored for specific requirements and needs, has been well accepted from the market.

The combination of a true, non-contact measurement together with the automatic calibration function in the AquaScat model WTM A is equally unmatched as the optimized flow cell using dual beam measurement in the model AquaScat P.  

No matter which model will be selected: an AquaScat is always the first choice if not only the initial capital cost, but also the total cost of ownership is considered in an evaluation.

A new bench mark in terms of operation and communication has been set with the introduction of the SICON control unit. Features like operating via a colour touch-screen, displaying measured values as graphs, visualization of the measured data over the last month, as well as system integration using Ethernet are in line with the wishes of many users.

This new technology is now available in the new AquaScat2. The price for instruments with the standard power supply of 24VDC will be even lower, although valuable features are now included.

AquaScat 2 HT
The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 in a free-falling water stream. This contactless design eliminates window foiling and minimizes servicing which is especially of importance with the version HT for high turbidity. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit with a glass reference to be mounted when performing the check.

AquaScat 2 P
The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 and is specially designed for installations with highly gaseous water under pressure. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit with a glass reference that is mounted when performing the check.

AquaScat 2 WTM
The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 using 90+° scattered light detection in a free-falling water stream. This contactless design eliminates window foiling and minimizes servicing to a minimum. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit that is either mounted to perform the check or that is already built in (depending on variant).
