Monitoring and the exact controlling of phase transitions is one of the most efficient methods to get a quick answer to the issues product loss and cost savings. The answer from SIGRIST is called PhaseGuard. The sensor is used to monitor the separation of water/wort, yeast/beer and in the filling station.
A further possibility for process optimization is found in the application yeast dosing. SIGRIST offers a new, elegant and cost-effective solution. Two turbidity sensors TurbiGuard are combined with one control unit SICON. An internal calculation of the measured values, using a calibration curve, results in a direct 4-20mA signal, giving directly the yeast concentration in Mio. cells/ml.
An additional version of the control unit SICON will also be introduced: the model SICON M allows connecting up to 8 sensors on a single control unit. This makes installation easier and reduces the system price.
